The Solar Boat Controller is the electric boat motor controller that integrated with the MPPT solar charger, E-Hybrid module for Solar power and battery output, forming a hybrid propulsion system for the motors, which have the following working modes:
- When the solar power generation match the rated motor power, the solar power can directly drive the motor or even charge the battery at the same time.
- When the solar power is insufficient, both the solar power and battery drive the motor in a parallel mode, and the output ratio of each route to be adjusted seamlessly and steplessly from 0~100%.
- When there is no sunlight, only the battery comes out to drive the motor.
- Switching mode is also available to the parallel mode, by switching the output from solar or battery only.
The above modes are all automatically monitored and executed by the controller.
The Solar Boat Controller with hybrid solar power and battery output can greatly increase the range of the boats, reduce the cost and time of charging.
